ExperienceI have over 5 years teaching experience in Kindergarten and UK Primary schools. My other work includes published research into perceptions of a newfangled language policy in Ghana. See below,
This is coupled with a study I'm currently developing as part of my Ph.D. which focuses on targeting children who are struggling with learning English as a second language.
I am able and available to provide remedial literacy and language development lessons/support for lower-higher primary years. This includes children who may need extra help in reading recovery or support in being phonemically aware. Moreover, this support stretches to children who are falling behind in their general school work or children who may have a special educational need.
In addition to this I am able to offer guidance and tuition for children who are learning English at secondary school and adults whose English isn't their first language.
In my spare time I'm constantly researching newer and more efficient ways to educate en masse, or through non-traditional educative methods. Such work has lead me to believe and champion self-organised learning, where children tailor their own learning objectives through innately driven concepts.
HobbiesI'm completely immersed in my academic work which is both a job and a hobby. Meeting new people and learning about how different social systems work also interests me deeply. Most of my work is in education, but I do enjoy playing football occasionally. Other interests include reading scientific articles that impacts the physical world.
